Our canoe trip options explore different regions of Manitoba and Ontario. Each trip is made up of 6-8 campers and 2 leaders. Our trip leaders are highly qualified and responsible for planning, navigating, and the safety of participants.

Campers need to come into this program with the right attitude: willing to pitch in with the group’s work, including portages, cooking, and setting up tents. Along the way, campers will see some spectacular scenery and wildlife, learn paddling and wilderness skills, and develop strong friendships and memories that will last a lifetime.

Excursion is a two or three-night canoe trip on Shoal Lake. This is an excellent opportunity for high school students to get out on the water and have an adventure. Trips are customized to the skills and availability of participants. Contact us to schedule your cohort!
Voyageur is a six-night canoe trip that explores Shoal Lake and Lake of the Woods, paddling through pristine lakes, abandoned mines, historical sites, and other hidden gems of the area. We offer two Voyageur Camps – one for girls and one for boys. Campers can do Voyageur as an add-on to a one-week camp session, or as a standalone experience. Trips are geared to the participants and their experience level.
Expedition is a six-night canoe trip that introduces campers to whitewater canoeing. New in 2026, we are offering two Expedition options: Expedition 1 (ages 14-16) will explore the popular and scenic Manigotagan River, and Expedition 2 (ages 15-17) will explore the majestic and rugged Bloodvein River, both in eastern Manitoba.

Safety is paramount: helmets are mandatory on the whitewater sections of the river, and leaders are experienced and well-trained, with Wilderness First Aid and lifeguarding certification. Camp screens participants to ensure that they are a good fit for the program. Routes are subject to change depending on local conditions.
Stay tuned for longer canoe trips being offered in 2027!
